How a clone is built

Generate a vanity key whose first characters match, screenshot the real interface, put a login box on top. The clone doesn’t need the real backend to eat credentials; it only needs to look like the thing until you type. Login covers what a real login asks for, which is far less than a form full of fields.

What gives it away

The tell is the whole string: all 56 characters, compared against the list at the top of this page, prefix and tail. Everything else is staging: a field that asks for a deposit address, a “login” that wants 12 words, a chat popup that appears before you’ve logged in, countdown timers, deposit minimums.

What the market does about it

Inside the app, signed announcements list the strings the operators recognize; a reader already inside can read them. This page is unofficial and unaffiliated with the market. It is a place to compare before going inside.
