What is WTN Market?
The short answer
WTN is WeTheNorth Market, a Canada-focused darknet marketplace running as a Tor hidden service. Listings and balances display in CAD. Payment settles in BTC or XMR. Escrow holds the buyer’s payment until the buyer confirms delivery.
The name comes from the Toronto Raptors slogan, the one that got printed on jerseys across the city. The market borrowed a phrase that already meant something local and hung a signseller on it. That’s the whole trick: national branding doing marketing work. It says built for Canadians. Treat it as a logo decision, not an ethics statement.
How it appeared
The market arrived in 2021, right after The Canadian HeadQuarters shut down in July of that year. Buyers with order histories and sellers with reputations needed somewhere to land, and WTN landed first.
That’s the full origin story. Markets in this niche are interchangeable shelters; one closes, its users walk to the newest one. What matters to a reader is which address is the current one, which is where this site comes in.
Two halves of a catalog
One half is goods that move: the ordinary stuff you’d order online anywhere.
The other half is the digital half, and it’s big. Gift cards, game keys, software keys, accounts, documents, services. No package, no shipping label, often no waiting on a courier. Shipping to the US or elsewhere shows up per listing, on the listing’s own shipping tab.
How deals settle
BTC or XMR goes into escrow, CAD shows in your balance the whole time, and the escrow releases when you confirm. When a deal sours, there’s a dispute flow, and vendor ratings are public going into it. Support answers in English and French.
Why this site exists at all
Search results for this market are full of clone sites that copy the brand, slap a login box on top, and want your password before you’ve read an address. This site holds three onion addresses and republishes them in full, without edits. Nothing to log into here.
